"I AM"................................................................................................. updated June 19, 2022

JUST WHO IS GOD ??? This question has been asked by humans since the very beginning of mankind. Before this web-site was created, I too asked this question. My age is such that I presently qualify for social security, and in a few months will celebrate my 78th birthday. Several years ago, God spoke to me through his "Holy Spirit". The exact details of how this occurred are not important for readers of this web-site. I have only shared details of my encounter with one other person. However, the exact date was January 14, 2005. It was a Friday morning in Goodyear, Arizona. I was on a walk inside the community which I lived in and God was speaking to me through His Spirit. Not sure of His instructions, I told God that a "Fleece" was going to be laid down by me. Most people would not do this when God is speaking to them, but to me it seemed like a way to avoid God's calling. My "Fleece" to God was that if He wanted me to do what He impressed upon me, He would have to send me a "WHITE BIRD" for my viewing, BEFORE my walk was completed. Now when God wants a person to do something, He has no problem convincing you to do it. The "problem" lies with us. Each of us tries to control our everyday activity, guide the course of our life, and we tend to be dis-interested in doing what God chooses for us to do. I am in no way making excuses, simply stating my observation of my own life. Within 5 minutes after laying down my fleece, God proceeded to send the first WHITE Egret which landed within 40 feet from where I was standing. Then a second WHITE Egret landed, then a third, fourth, fifth and finally a sixth. Six WHITE Egrets for my viewing. Without getting into scripture, "SIX" has a specific meaning in the Bible. I believe it denotes "MAN". To say that I was "stunned" would be understating what had just transpired. It has been 9 years since and on Easter Sunday April 20, 2014 this web-site was created. After a week of toiling and confusion official on-line date is today April 28, 2014. For those who would question this "experience" I would only say nothing anyone can say or do can ever change my thoughts concerning that day. The "facts" as they existed then, exist today because as I returned from my walk that day, went immediately to my home office, and recorded them on computer so that I would not ever forget them. It is as clear to me 9 years later as it happened on that winter morning. There have been two other times which I laid out a fleece for God and both times God has had no problem at all convincing me. I am someone who has experienced God's power first-hand.
Now before beginning to speak about "JUST WHO GOD IS" I must make a few comments. First of all, WORDS known to mankind are NOT capable of coming close to describing WHO GOD IS. Certainly, man has languages in order to communicate, but God is Creator of ALL THINGS. BEFORE anything was, GOD WAS. We should all ponder that for a few moments. I believe it is impossible to adequately describe God knowing this. So, what we are left with, is total humbleness in our descriptions of God. We do the best that our human minds can do, but we must accept that we are incapable of describing God. There have been many, many books written about God. In my own efforts to describe Who God Is, I will use the best source man has, the Bible. Several quotations of scripture listing chapter and verse will be utilized. Then I will interject what I believe God is telling mankind Who He Is.
Does "this web-site" have a purpose? Yes. Its' purpose is to help in whatever small way it can, others who are seeking answers to problems which are faced on a daily basis. When a person seeks God, that person most likely is not aware of much scripture. Whatever we have learned or been taught, we do not seek God UNLESS God has already DRAWN us to Him. Strange as this may seem it is simply the way God has caused it to be. In some mysterious way, God, through His Holy Spirit deals with our hearts. Something happens within us to stir up inside of us what God has always intended for God-man relationship. To "find God" and to accept God's Son, Jesus Christ, will be our willful act of acceptance. God holds out to us His GIFT (His only begotten Son). This gift is not forced upon us. This Gift is freely given to us by God, BUT, we must accept Jesus Christ. Unless we accept God's Gift (His Son) we can not see Heaven.
GOD DOES NOT CHANGE...............EVER. Take a look at the Ten Commandments.
1. Thou Shalt Have No Gods Before Me
2. Thou Shalt Not Make Graven Images
3. Thou Shalt Not Take the Lord's Name in Vain
4. Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath
Take a look at the above 4 commandments. They are listed in order that God gave them to Moses. ALL 4 of them pertain to God. They do not pertain to anything other than God. There are many passages of scripture which speak of God's fury, rage, heartache and wrath concerning how man views God. There are also many passages of scripture which speak of God NEVER CHANGING. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is NOT God who changes, it is man who changes. Man keeps attempting to rule instead of allowing God to rule. Two thousand years ago God sent His son so that MAN could be allowed a path towards God. It is a SINGULAR PATH, not two, not three, not ten, NOT ANY OTHER PATH EXCEPT JESUS CHRIST. That is it. No more, no less. Choose Jesus Christ, not the Pope, not Mary, not Joseph Smith, not Bahai, not Islam, not Mohammad, not Watchtower, not Christian Science, not Ron L Hubbard, not scientology..........JESUS CHRIST. Man does not get it. Man does not want to get it. Man wants the world to accept "man's sins" and to claim that they are not sins. Man attempts to change God. This would be laughable, if it were not tragic. Man would rather lose their eternal soul instead of bowing to God. As God said to Job, "where were you when I created the Heavens"? That is an excellent question. What has man done to create anything? "Be not deceived" Jesus Christ says in Matthew 24. This says many things. Yes, Jesus is speaking about the time when the END of Age will come. Interesting also is that Jesus says He does not know. Only the Father in Heaven knows. Think about this for a moment. I believe that when God established His plan for salvation to bring His only begotten Son to earth that God also set out the exact time and date for the End of the age. I believe God Himself can not change this date. It is "set in stone" and nothing can alter this time and date. No one knows, but since time does not exist with God, then time has no meaning to God, only to man.
